Here’s a list of some of the entertainers in Wales that you may wish to use for your event, whether it’s a dinner, product launch, incentive or corporate event.
This isn’t a definitive list but those listed do provide a unique Welsh experience.


Musicians - Instrumental 

  • Amanda Whiting
    Harpist - music ranges from classical to contemporary, specialising in modern and jazz. 
  • Bethan Nia
    An award Welsh harpist and singer living in Pontypridd who specialises in contemporary arrangements of traditional songs. Bethan's music has been played on Radio Cymru, Radio Wales and S4C and has played for weddings, private and corporate events.
  • Catrin Finch
    Popular award-winning Welsh harpist and was the official harpist for the Prince of Wales in 2000.   
  • Ceri Wynne Jones
    Harpist, playing a combination of classical, jazz and traditional styles to suit requirements.
  • Crasdant
    Instrumental band, comprising four of Wales’ most outstanding musicians, playing Welsh traditional music.  Includes the traditional harp, triple harp, flute, fiddle, accoridan, guitar and the pigborn (Welsh reed instrument)
  • Glenda Clwyd
    World-class’ harpist with over 25 years’ experience as a professional performer.
  • John Ieuan Jones
    Harpist: Wide range of music to suit any occasion, played in numerous events from weddings to the VIP opening of Rally GB Wales.

  • Kathryn Rees
    An award winning harpist with 15 years experience, Kathryn 
    entertains and charms audiences. Whether performing for an intimate dinner for ten people, a solo recital or a gala ball she adapts and personalises her performances to suit each occasion. She has a wide-ranging and exciting repertoire which varies from classical Mozart to lively jazz.
  • Megan Morris
    Classically trained harpist with experience performing in high profile events, weddings and functions. Repertoire ranges from classical and traditional to popular music.
  • Nia Sian Davies
    Harpist with over 20 years experience.
  • Robin Huw Bowen
    Robin Huw Bowen is the Master of the Welsh Triple Harp ranking among the most important figures that the Welsh folk tradition has produced. He has won many awards including the Glynd┼Ár Medal for 'an outstanding contribution to the arts in Wales', and a BAFTA (Cymru) for his original score for the S4C film Eldra.
  • The String Quartet Company
    The String Quartet Company is made up of professional musicians with many years of experience. Members include former players of BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Welsh National Opera.
  • Zwzaz
    A trio with a difference, with a unique blend of harp, trumpet/flugel and Double Bass bringing a fresh new sound to Jazz. Their compositions fuses Jazz with the Cerdd Dant tradition of Welsh music.  


Welsh Folk/Traditional Singers 

  • ALAW
    Three musicians who love performing traditional Welsh music. Their original music range from jigs to stirring songs. Nominated for a presigious BBC Radio 2 folk award in 2018.
  • Bear Bones
    The band consists of 3 members who perform traditional vocal folk songs accompanied by guitars, a melodeon and harmonica.
  • Ffynnon
    A band that performs traditional music which reflects the landscapes of the Celtic Countries.  Vocals are by Lynne Denman and the accordion and harp are played by Stacey Blythe.

  • Gethin Fôn a Glesni Fflur
    A singing duo who provide vocals accompanied by guitar.  Lyrics are written by Gethin whose inspiration comes from his North Wales roots.
  • Jamie Smith's Mabon
    The band's members originate from across the British Isles, including Wales and produce InterCeltic music inspired by the traditions of the Celtic countries. Now based in Wales, the musicians are firm friends and are passionate about jazz and world music.



Classical/Theatre Singers  

  • Bryn Terfel
    An opera star well-known across the globe. The founder of the Faenol Festival, a music festival which attracted popular Welsh and internationally famous artists.  
  • Katherine Jenkins
    Katherine became the first British classical artist to have two number one albums in the same year. She has performed in many concerts around the World.  
  • Aled Jones
    Welsh singer and TV/radio personality and broadcaster. Aled first came to fame in the 1980s as a treble (a boy soprano).   
  • John Owen-Jones
    A British musical theatre actor. He has also worked on Television and has released his first solo CD, a five-track EP entitled Hallelujah.  
  • Sioned Terry
    Sioned, Welsh Mezzo Soprano, has a wealth of experience in performing for a variety of audiences. With a popular repertoire of firm classic favourites, she enjoys entertaining crowds at music festivals, concerts and celebrations throughout Wales and beyond. Sioned has experienced success on the platform of the Welsh National Eisteddfod as well as at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod and has recorded performances for televised and radio broadcasts.

  • Celebration Songs
    Lisa Carlisle is a classical soprano and able to sing an extensive repertoire - opera, classical music, jazz, romantic song, contemporary & musical theatre.  
  • Iona Jones
    One of Wales' leading sopranos – Iona has over 15 years experience in entertaining foreign visitors and native Welsh people with a wide selection of music - from classical to popular.  
  • Greg Pritchard
    Male Soprano singer who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 and narrowly missed being voted into the Finals. Since then he has performed in a number of variety' shows, holiday venues and at private functions.  
  • John Ieuan Jones
    Classical Singer: Currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music, mainly sings classical music and songs from musicals. Performed at many events and concerts including the Youth Work Excellence Awards 2014.

  • Only Men Aloud
    The choir is made up of 20 young men from South Wales and won BBC1’s popular TV show ‘Last Choir Standing’ in 2008 and have since signed a record deal with Universal Music. 
  • Only Boys Aloud
    The Only Boys Aloud project was set up by members of Only Men Aloud to motivate the next generation of Welsh male singers. It includes 10 choirs around South Wales with members aged between 14 and 19.  




Story-telling and Re-enactments 



  • Chance Encounters
    Heritage Interpretation Theatre Company specialises in heritage interpretation. They also do murder mysteries and corporate events.
  • Merlyn Theatre Company
    Merlyn Theatre Company, formed in 1989 by Pat Hughes, is a group of actors and musicians from South Wales who delight in performing the words and music of our best-loved writers. The Company includes harpists, singers, dancers and actors whose performances of extracts from Under Milk Wood and Anglo-Welsh poetry have won them international acclaim.  

  • Song and Story
    Ruth Moore Williams provides a unique blend of music, comedy, storytelling and song for all occasions. 
  • Harlech Medieval Society
    Battle re-enactment - recreates life and combat as it may have been in 13th Century England and Wales.  




Dance / Circus 


  • No Fit State Circus
    No Fit State Circus is a charity organisation and has been training the community in circus skills since 1993. They have a vast array of talented performers. Choose from stilt walkers, jugglers, magicians, musicians, statues and comic.  

  • FFIN Dance Company
    FFIN Dance is a professional dance company based in Wales and a registered charity.
