There are plenty of restaurants in Wales offering accommodation – somewhere to eat, drink and sleep and more and more eateries are making the most of Wales’s assets – the fine quality of our local ingredients. They emphasise the use of locally sourced ingredients in their menus, offering customers a real ‘sense of place’. North Wales 


  • Castle Cottage Harlech

    A family-run 40-seater restaurant in two of the oldest houses in Harlech, just 100 metres from Harlech Castle, a World Heritage Site.   Awarded Gold Standard Accommodation Award 2015 by Visit Wales.
  • The Dragon B&B and Restaurant

    The 2 Rosette restaurant offers high quality gourmet food. Hardens UK Restaurants in association with Remy Martin fine Champagne Cognac says its "one of the best places to eat in North Wales".

    18th century farmhouse located within the grounds of Bodnant Welsh Food, with its Hayloft Restaurant and Furnace Tearoom. There’s also a farm shop selling predominantly Welsh produce, a cookery school and it's also home for the new National Beekeeping Centre for Wales.

Mid Wales

    The 2 AA Rosettes restaurant offers a Modern British menu with a hint of Mediterranean. Electric vehicle charging point and hire of E-bikes available.
  • Peterstone Court
    Location: Llanhamlach, near Brecon, Brecon Beacons National Park

    The meat and poultry used in the award-winning restaurant actually comes from their own family farm just down the road. The underground cellars have also been converted into a Spa and Leisure Suite. Fishing breaks available.

    Chef proprietor Stéphane Borie's kitchen offers classic French dining in a Michelin Star restaurant.

  • Ty Glyn Restaurant & Conference Centre

    The gallery restaurant is informal and heads onto a terraced area for summer dining.  The Aeron Suite can cater for up to 200 delegates.

South West Wales

    Family run 32 seater restaurant with rooms. Lounge bar with cocktails and Gym available. They have their own green house and raised beds and you will also find the chef often picking berries in the fields and scrambling across rock pools for laverbread.

South East Wales 


  • The Bell at Skenfrith
    Location: Skenfrith, Monmouthshire

    A former 17th century coaching inn with an award-winning restaurant including 2 AA rosettes. They can offer kitchen garden tours and also sell produce. When the weather is good you can eat outside on the garden terrace or order a picnic and sit in the orchard meadow. The Dog and Boot Bar is a hit with walkers and their dogs. Awarded Gold Standard Accommodation Award 2015 by Visit Wales.
