  • National Trust – Numerous Locations
    A wide range of working holidays are available, from short breaks to volunteering holidays for the family. Some of the activities that can be done while volunteering include Gardening, Looking after historic houses, surveys as well as rural skills and Archaeology. The majority of the holidays take part in the Snowdonia and Llyn area, however there is few in Gower as well as Mid & South Wales. 
     
  • CAT (Centre for Alternative Technology) - Machynlleth
    The centre for Alternative Technology hosts short term volunteering holidays. During the spring and summer months CAT offers week long volunteering holidays for up to 4 volunteers a week. These holidays are only for those who are 18 and over, however CAT also offers seasonal Volunteering holidays through the year, which are open to a much wider audience. Activities during the volunteering holiday include surveying, bird monitoring, working with woodland officers as well as whatever work that needs to be done urgently.
     
  • Felin Uchaf - Pwllheli, Gwynedd
    Felin Uchaf offers volunteering holidays all year round, with a choice of staying from a week to a maximum of 3 months. Many of the work is physically demanding, which include the building of a visitor centre, as well as many different gardening projects which happen on site. There are 2 roundhouses which can sleep up to 5 volunteers, as well as an old farmhouse which can sleep up to another 5 volunteers. If there is anyone who wishes for more privacy, there is a field where you can pitch your own tents.
     
  • RSPB – Numerous Locations
    The RSPB offers Residential volunteering for anyone who wishes to try something new. There are many RSPB Sites around Wales, offering work such as managing a nature reserve as well as practical conservation. While the Volunteering is only available for those over 18 years old, the work is often available all year round and you can decide how long you stay for in most cases.
     
 
 
  • Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre
    The Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife centre recruits seasonal volunteers who can work with them for long term holidays between Easter and November. Work will include working in the visitor centre, surveys on land and boat, beach cleaning as well as educational activities. Accommodation is available in the form of a shared house, which is fully equipped for your needs.
